The Theodore Levin U.S. Courthouse is a steel-frame ten-story limestone-clad federal courthouse and office building, constructed between 1932 and 1934. Designed by Branson V. Gamber of Robert O. Derrick, Inc., it features an Art Deco design with stylized references to Neoclassicism. The building stands on a black granite base, with fluted pilasters marking the triple recessed entrances and relief sculptures of eagles and emblems portraying governmental functions.
