Most days we aren't in the studio, we are somewhere in Detroit photographing an event—a gala at Orchestra Hall, a headquarters opening at Hudson's, a conference in New Center, a community gathering on the Joe Louis Greenway. How much does event photography cost in Detroit?

How far in advance should we book a Detroit event photographer?
Two to four weeks for a typical corporate event, six to eight for a large gala or multi-day conference. We accept last-minute bookings when the calendar allows—text 313-351-8244 for same-week availability.
Do you provide same-day social media images at events?
Yes. A curated set of edited images is sent within hours of the event for posting, press releases, or donor updates. The full gallery—about 20 edited images per hour of coverage—follows within 48 hours.
Can you set up a headshot booth at our event?
Yes—a dedicated photo booth or step-and-repeat station is a popular add-on for conferences and donor events. We did this for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Civic Youth Ensembles.

Can you provide a W-9 and a certificate of insurance?
Yes to both. A W-9 is available on request for your accounts-payable team, and we're insured through Professional Photographers of America — we can provide a certificate of insurance and name your venue as additional insured if it requires one.
What happens if equipment fails during our event?
Nothing you'd notice. We shoot every event with two camera bodies and backup lenses, with multiple redundancies — a single equipment failure never costs you coverage.
Do you photograph events across metro Detroit?
Yes. We cover event photography anywhere in Detroit and the metro—Downtown, Midtown, New Center, and the surrounding suburbs—from Orchestra Hall and Hudson's Detroit to your office, a hotel banquet room, or a community center. Flat $299 an hour, no travel surcharge inside the metro.
