Calvin N. Otis

Calvin N. Otis designed three of Detroit's most important early churches — Old Mariners' Church, St. Paul's Episcopal, and the Church of the Messiah. His Gothic Revival work from the 1840s and 1850s opened the architectural style that Gordon W. Lloyd would soon adopt and extend.
