What's Included

Hard, Sculpting Light

Directional light that carves muscle definition and separation — the difference between a snapshot and a portrait that sells the work you put in.

Studio or In the Gym

Shoot on the platform under your own barbell, or come to the restored 1889 mansion studio for a clean, controlled backdrop.

Stage and Brand Ready

Frames built for the competition poster, the sponsor deck, the trainer profile, and the feed — sized and retouched for each.

Definition is a lighting problem

A phone in a gym mirror flattens everything you trained for. Muscle shows up at the edges, where hard, directional light rakes across it and separates one group from the next. That control is the whole job — one photographer setting the light, shooting the effort, and hand-retouching each frame afterward until the work you put in is the first thing anyone sees.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a fitness photoshoot cost in Detroit?

You pay only for the finished images you keep — not a package of files you will never post. In the studio it is $149 for your first image and $99 for each after; on location — your gym, a warehouse floor, a Detroit rooftop — it is $299 for the first and $149 for each after. No session fee, no hourly minimum: you can shoot for two hours and take home a single frame.

Can you shoot at my gym instead of the studio?

Yes. On-location fitness sessions run $299 for the first image and $149 for each after. We bring lighting to your gym, box, or training floor and work around the equipment you actually use — the rack, the platform, the ropes. If you want a clean, distraction-free look instead, the mansion studio gives you full control of the background.

What should I wear and how should I prep?

Bring two or three fitted looks — training gear, a competition suit, and something clean for a brand or trainer profile. Come pumped: a short warm-up before you step in front of the light makes a visible difference. Matte skin over shine, and skip a heavy meal right before. We plan the shot list with you first so nothing gets missed.

Do you photograph physique competitors and posing?

Yes — bodybuilders, bikini and physique athletes, powerlifters, and CrossFit competitors. We shoot posing sets, individual quarter-turns, and the dramatic single-light frames that carry a competition poster. If you are still learning your poses, come a few minutes early and we will work through the angles that photograph strongest.

How fast do I get the photos, and can I use them commercially?

Same-day turnaround is available, and you review the images on a large screen as we shoot. Every file is hand-retouched and delivered full-resolution, sized for the feed, the sponsor deck, and print. The images are yours to use for your personal brand, your training business, and your sponsors.
