Two ways we price a team day

The right model depends on how your day is structured: a sit-down session for a roster you already have, or a walk-up booth for an event with a headcount you don't know until people show up.

Team sessions — priced per image

For departments, leadership rosters, and new-hire batches — any group where you already know who's coming.

In-studio, per person
$149 first image, $99 each additional
At your office, per person
$299 first image, $149 each additional

Staff events — priced by the hour

For all-hands days, conferences, and walk-up headshot booths — events where people show up whether or not they were on a list.

The headshot booth
$299 per hour
Delivery
Group gallery, or automatic per-person delivery by face match

Tell us the headcount before we quote. A large staff day priced by the hour runs a few thousand dollars total; the same day priced per image runs many times higher. We'll point you to the model that fits.

One photographer, one setup, every employee

We light once and shoot the whole roster under it—same backdrop, same key light, same photographer. A new hire photographed in the fall matches the person hired in the spring, because we return with the same setup, not a different photographer's interpretation of it.

Your website, your LinkedIn page, and your annual report never look assembled from four different studios.

One person books, everyone shows up

You don't need every employee filling out their own form. One point of contact handles the whole team.

1. Tell us the headcount

One email or one call sets the date and points you to the right pricing model.

2. We build the schedule

Time slots come back ready to drop into your team's calendar—about five minutes a head.

3. Photos land same day

Every employee gets their file the day we shoot—no one has to chase anyone down.

Detroit Photography occupies the master suite at the historic John N. Bagley House, one of Detroit's oldest and most prestigious historic homes. Constructed in 1889 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. See Bagley Mansion in the architecture portfolio.

We come to you. A conference room is a studio.

We bring professional lighting and a full studio setup to your office and work with the space you have—a conference room, a lobby, any open area. Nobody travels, and the whole team is photographed in a single visit. Smaller teams and single departments sometimes prefer coming to our Bagley Mansion studio instead; the photographer, lighting, and retouching are identical either way.

As Detroit's top headshot photographers, we treat a 200-person staff day with the same standard as a single executive portrait: every person leaves with an image they'd actually put on their profile.

Every Session Includes

Live image review

Every employee sees their photo on a large monitor before they step off the mark

Magazine-quality retouching

Hand-edited by Andrew Petrov, not an automated filter

Same-day turnaround available

Files back the day we shoot, even for large teams

One consistent setup

Same lighting, same backdrop, same photographer for the whole roster

Minimal disruption

About five minutes a head once the light is set — nobody is away from their desk long

Studio or on-site

We come to your office, or your team comes to the Bagley Mansion

Professional posing guidance

Coaching for every person, not just the ones comfortable in front of a camera

New hires added later

We return with the same setup so a later hire matches the rest of the team

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you price a corporate headshot session?

+

It depends on how your day is structured. A team session — a defined roster of people you already know — is priced per image: $149 for the first image and $99 for each additional in our studio, per person, or $299 for the first and $149 for each additional if we come to your office, per person. A staff event with a headcount you don't know in advance — an all-hands, a conference, a walk-up headshot booth — is priced by the hour instead, at $299 an hour.

Is there a minimum team size, and when should we use the hourly model instead?

+

No set minimum. A single extra teammate can ride along on an executive session at the additional-image rate. Once a group runs past a dozen or so people, the hourly model usually costs less — a large staff day priced by the hour runs a few thousand dollars total, not the tens of thousands the per-image rate would add up to. Tell us the headcount before you book and we'll point you to the cheaper model.

Can one person book for the whole team?

+

Yes. One point of contact—an office manager, an executive assistant, whoever owns the calendar—gives us a headcount and a date. We build the schedule and send it back ready to drop into your team's calendar. No one else has to fill out a form.

How do you keep every employee's headshot consistent?

+

One photographer shoots the entire roster under one lighting setup and one backdrop, whether that takes an hour or a full day. Nobody gets a different background or a different photographer's style. Your website and your LinkedIn page never look assembled from four different studios.

Do you come to our office, or do we come to your studio?

+

Either. Most companies have us come on-site—the whole team is photographed in one visit and nobody leaves the building. Smaller teams or single departments sometimes prefer our Bagley Mansion studio instead. The photographer, lighting, and retouching are the same either way.

How long does a session take for a large team?

+

Most people are in front of the camera for about five minutes once the lighting is set. A team of 50 runs about half a day on-site. Larger rosters and full staff events are scheduled around your workday, in blocks that fit between meetings, so no one is away from their desk for long.

How fast do we get the finished photos?

+

Same-day delivery is standard. For staff events run through the headshot booth, we can deliver automatically—each employee's photo goes straight to their own inbox, matched by face, without anyone digging through a shared gallery to find themselves.

Can we photograph new hires later and match the same look?

+

Yes. We keep the lighting setup and backdrop from your original session on file, so a new hire photographed months later matches the rest of the team exactly.

Where is your studio, if we'd rather come to you?

+

Our studio is in the historic Bagley Mansion at 2921 E Jefferson Ave, Suite 101, Detroit, MI 48207, a few minutes from downtown Detroit.

Detroit's corporate headshot photographer serving Metro Detroit, Dearborn, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Southfield, Ann Arbor, Troy, and surrounding areas.
