When should I book my graduation session?
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks before your graduation ceremony, especially during peak season (April-June). This gives you time to receive your photos before grad parties and announcements go out. Same-week bookings are sometimes available — just ask!
What should I bring to my graduation photoshoot?
Bring your cap, gown, stole, cords, and any other regalia. We also recommend 1-2 casual outfits for variety. Don't forget your diploma or diploma cover! Props like class rings, letter jackets, or sports gear are welcome too.
Can my family join the session?
Absolutely! We love including family in graduation sessions. We'll capture both solo portraits and family group shots. There's no extra charge for additional people in your session.
Do you shoot on campus or only in studio?
Both! Our historic Bagley Mansion studio provides a stunning backdrop, and we also shoot on-location at campuses across Metro Detroit. Wayne State, U of D Mercy, University of Michigan-Dearborn — you name it. On-location sessions start at $299.
