Detroit Architect
Peter Dederichs1856–1924
Peter Dederichs was Detroit's Catholic architect. He designed Ste. Anne de Detroit, St. Mary's in Greektown, Assumption Grotto, and the St. Bonaventure Monastery — the church where Solanus Casey served. His Romanesque and Gothic Revival churches anchor the German, Polish, and Italian neighborhoods of immigrant Detroit.
