Detroit Architect
Peter Dederichs1856–1924
Peter Dederichs was Detroit's Catholic architect. He designed Ste. Anne de Detroit, St. Mary's in Greektown, Assumption Grotto, and the St. Bonaventure Monastery—the church where Solanus Casey served. His Romanesque and Gothic Revival churches anchor the German, Polish, and Italian neighborhoods of immigrant Detroit.
