What it costs

In studio—$149 for the first image, $99 for each additional. Bagley Mansion, Midtown. Unlimited time. Outfit changes, hair touch-ups, and family rearrangements included. Two images is $248. Five images is $545. Most families book five to ten.

On location—$299 per hour. Belle Isle, the Detroit Institute of Arts atrium, the Fisher Building arcade, the Renaissance Center, your home, your party venue. Travel inside the metro included. High-resolution files licensed for print and personal use.

Cake smash sessions, sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, and milestone group portraits all priced from the same menu. No package upsells, no print minimums.

Common questions

Where do you shoot birthday and milestone portraits in Detroit?
In studio at Bagley Mansion in Midtown, and on location at the DIA's Rivera Court, the Fisher Building's marble arcade, Belle Isle's conservatory and beaches, and the Renaissance Center riverwalk. We've photographed family sessions at each of these in the past year—the portfolio above is the actual range. If your venue isn't on the list, ask.
Can the whole family be in the photo, including grandparents and cousins?
Yes. Group portraits up to about fifteen people work well in studio; larger groups belong on location where we can spread out. Multigenerational portraits—grandparents through grandkids—are a standard part of milestone sessions and don't cost extra.
Do you do first-birthday cake smashes?
Yes, in studio. Bring the cake and a change of clothes for the cleanup. We shoot the lead-up portraits clean, then the smash, then candid shots while the toddler explores. Plan on about an hour. Most families take home five to ten edited images for $545.
How quickly can we book?
Two to three weeks for in-studio sessions on a normal week; sometimes same-week if the calendar opens up. Milestone events on location (sweet sixteens, quinceañeras, a 50th at the DIA) book three to six weeks out. Text 313-351-8244 for next-week availability.
Do we get to keep the high-resolution files?
Yes. Every image we deliver is a full-resolution JPEG, color-corrected and retouched, licensed for printing, framing, sending to family, and posting to social media. No watermarks, no per-print fees.
