What gear is included?
Everything you need to shoot. That means: professional camera bodies, a full prime-lens kit, Matthews lighting (strobes, continuous, softboxes, C-stands, flags, scrims, modifiers), tethering equipment with a monitor for live client review, and hand-painted plus seamless backdrops. There are no add-on fees. The $299/hour rate covers it all.
Do I need to bring my own camera?
No. Cameras and lenses are included in the rental. If you have a camera or lens you prefer to use, you're welcome to bring it — but the studio rental gives you full access to our professional kit by default.
How do I book the studio?
Book online through our scheduling page or call us at 313-351-8244. We offer flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Minimum booking is 1 hour. We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially for weekends.
Is there parking available?
Yes. Free street parking is available along E Jefferson Ave directly in front of the studio. There's typically plenty of availability. We're located at 2921 E Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI 48207.
Can I bring my own clients to the studio?
Absolutely. Many photographers rent our studio for their own client sessions. You have full, private use of the space during your rental period — and your clients will love both the historic Bagley Mansion setting and the editorial-grade results from the gear available.
What's the minimum booking time?
The minimum rental is 1 hour at $299/hour. For longer sessions, half-day, or full-day rentals, we offer discounted rates. Contact us for custom pricing.
