A portrait of author and engineer Tiffany Layhe. Tiffany came to us with a challenging assignment: create a 1940s-style black and white headshot to match the period of the alternate history book she authored. We modeled the shoot on the work of Yousuf Karsh, trading in our normal diffused key umbrella for a hard-light beauty dish. A fun fact: Karsh preferred continuous light, just like we do!
