We built our whole process around that feeling. From the moment you arrive at the historic Bagley Mansion, the goal is to make a portrait session feel like a conversation, not an ordeal.
A real photographer runs every session. Nothing here is generated by an AI headshot tool, and nothing is left to a template. We watch your expression, adjust the light, and coach each pose in person, so the photo that ends up on your website looks like you on a good day rather than a stranger who shares your haircut. The studio sits at 2921 E Jefferson Avenue in an 1889 mansion, and the architecture gives every frame a depth that a pop-up backdrop cannot.
In-studio sessions start at $149, which covers the session and your first finished image, with additional retouched images available. Prefer to shoot at your office, clinic, or a Detroit landmark? On-location sessions start at $299. Either way you see your photos on a large monitor as we shoot, choose your favorites on the spot, and watch the retouching happen in front of you rather than waiting weeks to find out what you got.

Arrive at Historic Bagley Mansion
Our studio is located in a beautiful 1889 mansion in Detroit. Free parking is available right outside. You'll be greeted warmly and offered water, coffee, or tea.
Relax and Shoot
We'll discuss your goals for the session and get started. There's no time pressure—take as long as you need. Change outfits as many times as you'd like. We'll guide you through poses and expressions to get natural, authentic photos.
Review Your Photos
During the session, you'll see your photos on a large monitor in real-time. This lets you make adjustments and ensures you're getting exactly what you want.
Receive Your Final Images
Your professionally retouched photos will be delivered to your inbox within 24-48 hours (often same-day). High-resolution files are included for both print and web use.

I am an executive and my time is tight. How long does this take?
A focused headshot session is short by design. Because you review the photos on the monitor as we go, you know you have the shot before you leave, and there is no second visit to reshoot. Same-day appointments are often available, and finished images usually arrive within 24 to 48 hours, often the same day.
I am a physician and need a clean, professional look for the hospital directory. Can you match that?
Yes. We shoot against multiple background options, including the neutral, evenly lit look that medical and corporate directories call for, and we keep the retouching honest. The point of a clinical or corporate headshot is to look approachable and credible, not airbrushed, and a real photographer editing each file by hand gets you there.
I am a real-estate agent. My headshot is on every sign and listing. What do I get?
You get high-resolution files sized for both print and web, so the same portrait works on a yard sign, a business card, and your brokerage profile. Unlimited wardrobe changes during the session mean you can capture a few different looks in one visit and use them across your marketing.
Do you use AI to generate headshots?
No. Every image is a real photograph of you, taken by a photographer in our studio and retouched by hand. AI headshot generators invent details and tend to look uncanny up close. A genuine portrait holds up under the scrutiny of a client, a hiring manager, or a board.
