Frank Lloyd Wright1867–1959

Frank Lloyd Wright designed five buildings in Michigan, four of them in metro Detroit. The Affleck House in Bloomfield Hills and the Turkel House in Detroit are Usonian; the Smith and Wall houses extend the experiment. The Meyer May House in Grand Rapids is his finest Prairie-period domestic interior surviving anywhere.
